Tee & Tempo

How We Make Money

Tee & Tempo is free to read because it's funded by affiliate links. Here's the honest, complete picture of how that works.

The short version

When you click a “check price” or “view on Amazon” button on this site and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price is exactly the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly. That commission is what pays for the research and writing here.

Amazon Associates

Tee & Tempo is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Most of the product links on this site point to Amazon, using our Associates tag type5golf-20.

We may add other retailers or brand-direct programs over time. When we do, the same rule applies: a link only earns us a commission if we have genuinely joined that program, and we will always send you to the option that is best for you as a buyer — not the one that pays us most. If Amazon is cheaper, Amazon is where we send you.

What the commission does NOT do

  • It does not change which products we recommend. Our picks come from published specs and honest buyer-fit reasoning, decided before any link is added. See our methodology.
  • It does not buy a place on a list. We accept no payment, no sponsorship and no free products in exchange for coverage or a ranking.
  • It does not change your price. Affiliate links cost you nothing extra, ever.

How links are labeled

Commercial links on this site are marked as advertising and carry the standard rel="sponsored"attribute, per Google’s guidance and FTC rules. Money pages also carry a short disclosure near the buy buttons, so you are never left guessing whether a link earns us anything.

Prices and availability

Prices shown come from a live retailer feed and are stamped with the date they were checked; they can change at any time, and the retailer’s price at checkout is the one that counts. When we cannot confirm a current price, we show “check price” instead of a number. We never publish a stale price.
